lol i wouldnt worry too much.. these kind of laws always get a lil stricter and then loosen up.

so what if, i moved to canada then started growing my own stash, say like 6 plants. if they caught me, would i go to prison or jus get a slap on the wrist?

So they cut off the power to one house that was using more power than the others? And this affected "SCORES" of other growers? I read the first 4 lines of this article and my "Bullshit Detector" is going nuts.

If need be, switch to a natural gas generator, a 5KVA to 10KVA is about $2000 on Ebay, even cheaper. Maintenance every few weeks, change an oil filter. Easy to install to the natural gas manifold in your basement. Every home built in the last 20 years probably has natural gas. Impossible to tell what the gas is supplying. Homes have NG for stove, hot water tank, furnace, fireplace, hot-tub, swimming pool, dryer, barbecue, etc. Easy to run about 5 lights off a 10KVA unit, especially if not on continuous. Easy to muffle sound down to about 50db...
