The indica high is more intense. It is a plant that generally grows smaller which is important for the number of indoor US growers.

i wonder what is used here. how can you tell what you are smoking, or is that an impossible question?

I would say it is impossible to know what your smoking once it has been dried. Most marijuana on the market here is a blend of an indica and sativa. The "schwag" or brick weed here in the US comes across the border from Mexico, and I would assume it is more Sative than anything else.

everything we get now is home grown. it was always coming from across the water. you can tell the difference. its very leafy and stalky.

if you are really unlucky you can end up with a bag of wet gritty stalky hash

Not all english homegrown weed is bad

i know, the stuff we get is just very damp and more stalky . plenty strong enough
