I have done a little math. And all i need is for each of my females to yeild is 4.3 ounces. This will give me enough weed to smoke a half ounce a week all year(with 2 harvest per year). I am using FLO's from planting through harvest so my question is: Can I yeild 4.3 ounce off a plant like jock horror or Aurora Indica with my FLO's?

good luck with that, unless you have more than 400 watts of them. if that's the case, you would be better off going with and HID.

what size of grow area are we talking? how much wattage are you running? how many plants are you planning on growing at a time?

You're asking if you can get over 4oz from a plant under floros? No frikkin way.

You will need at least 600 HID type lights. Floros cannot penetrate past the first few inches of the canopy to get any kind of decent bud. Floros are great for veg. Cheap to run and they don't run hot. But not for flower.

I'm in the FLORO boat as well. I have three, 4' ballasts each with two lights, one warm and one cool floro per ballast. It's veg'n my babies like a champ, but it's just for now. By the time they are ready to flower I will have picked up an HID solution. Wish i didn't have to, but I didn't come all this way to get a half oz. of fluff. Sometimes ya gotta give to get.
