Need Electrical help on a ballast MH-HPS conversion

I have taken it apart to find the Ignitor but no luck.. So I've taken some pictures for the experienced, and would really like some feed back, I have two of these Ballast set up, and my garden is waiting for me. My goal here is to take it from a MH lamp (current state) to a HPS. They are universal ballasts. Assistance please? Anyone?

Also, can I really use 0-400w bulbs in this? And or 1000w? If so, please let me know. Thanks.

ah highbays... i use those ballasts myself.
yes, you can really use 0-450w lamps.
switching form mh to hps? lol.. no switch required, just change the lamp

That's just it my friend. I have tried that... Someone on one of my other threads told me that it should have a switch on it somewhere? That's the way to go from one type of light to the other.. Any other Ideas?

you can get conversion bulbs they are a little pricy . as far as rewiring found this Converting Metal Halide to High Pressure Sodium and a couple other articles

Okay, I've tried using my 400w HPS, 150HPS, and my two 70MH and nothing worked.. It wouldn't turn on at all.. It buzzed and that's about it. but It works for my 400w MH.. So what's the dealeO?

i thought ballast must have write bulbs ie 250 watt ballast will not runn a 600w bulb as its current is less because of the resistance in the ballast?????
