Lol well basically i had a gnat problem so i sprayed one of my plants with a dish was soap, vinegar & water mix as instructed by a experienced grower, i then sprayed it with fresh water 7 hours later but the plant looks brown and like it is dyeing..

I know there are many growers on here with 20+ years of growing experience
There are also allllot of very helpful people

basically the aim of the competition if you haven't figured it out already is to give me instructions on what to do to keep this plant alive and restore it to full health.

If anyone can revive it i will...rep them & love them for many a grow to come.

I only have 4 plants growing and this is my first grow, one of them is small and is known as the retard, the other 2 look ok, and this one is heading downhill..

I expect this plant to die now so thought this would be a fun little game to play...


I am growing using cfl,s
i have not added any nutes
i am using some soil my mum gave me
i do not live near a walmart or a headshop
i am growing in a closet
this is my first grow


Give me instructions!!


I have Flushed the plant to try and rid it of any shit that may have got into the soil.

how big is your plant? can you turn the plant upside down and dip the entire plantinto a bucket of water?

i think its allot smaller than your thinking

After flushing it i took it out of the pot as if i was going to transplant it to inspect the roots ect...about 3 of the gnats flew out from about 3/4 of the way down the dirt

I could not see any eggs and the roots seed to be ok, so i dont think its the gnats that are killing it im pretty sure it was just the stuff i sprayed it with.

yes, you need to foliar wash it and thats the best that you can do, you've already flush so whatever it was that you spray on them isn't in the soil. So thats it just foliar wash and wait for it to regenerate itself(its in shock right now).

hold on clear instructions cause i seem to over think things and end up doing them wrong..

Tip the plant and the pot upside down... dip the plants leaves and most of the stalk into some water for 3 seconds then return to normal and place back under the lights?

yes, i've once fill up a bathtub and then place a 3ft plant sideways and kinda like strangle it underwater and shaking it under water and its fine, they probably even loved it. I did that because i had these small little bugs all over it that wouldn't die no matter what i did. If you want to know yes it fixed the problem i got them under controlled after that and eventually all the stranded one that was still on there just die or left.

you probly gave your plant an asid burn with the vingar.
vingar is very asidic. do like gn said rince the leaves of all the asidic vingar.
next time just use the dish soap & water no vingar. if you still have some of that mixture left give it a ph test. i want a hummer from your gf too
