Thread: Make my own incubator

Hi new here & i think this is my 1st post .
ive got 1 plant growin & i plan to take cuttings to grow more. ive been reading about incubation & a guide how to make a incubator cheap but cant find much info.

anyway this is what i have made so far check the pics.

the light ive pictured is just an example of what i want to use for it if possible (coz its cheap). let me know what u think, does it need painting white, lining with foil anything like that & should that light work?

i cant tell how tall that thing is. you might need something a tad larger. unless we're talking really short clones.

Ok thanks, im gonna measure it l8r so il post them & hopefully someone can tell me if iv got it about the right size

measured it & its almost exactly 15cm tall. should that be high enough?
& what about the light i pictured, would something like that be good enough?

the light wont be great because its enclosed and u gotta get the right bulb, something with blue spectrum. if u could remove the light hood then the light will spread more. check out any hydro shop for the bulbs. go for cfl. cheap to run but a little more expensive to buy.
