I just wanted to post and let you guys know that Atmosphere the company that makes the Vortex inline fans is really a stand up operation.

I called this morning after just receiving a 6" inline VTX600 off of ebay. The fan obviously wasn't working right so I decided maybe it would be easier to try and get it fixed under warranty than to deal with the guy that sold it to me.

These fans have a 10 year warranty, and even though I bought it off ebay the sales guy was super nice about it and said that even though I bought it from someone else they tend to look the other way about those things.

It is refreshing to know that there are still some companies out there that care about their customers.

what sixe fan do u have and does it work well? Also how loud is it? are you happy with chosing vortex over say Can-Fan? just courious thanks for your help

I almost bought a vortex fan but the shop had a hurricane upstairs which pushes out more cfm's.

did the salesman also tell you, they sound like a 757 taking off?

hurricane fans are supposed to be super loud....the quiestest is ellicent....i have 2 ellicents and one can fan all 8 inch and there all very similar but the ellicents have less vibration

vortex is where its at.
i wasn't covered in the warranty tho by the way my cord broke.
