These pictures are of 6 week in veg Kush. The preflowering calyx seem to be very small in this strain. I'm thinking female but I'm unsure. The last pic is a sister in early flower. see how small the calyx even in flower? what do you think. Girl?

Funny thing. pics 1 and 2 are a plant under 18/6 MH light for 6 weeks and pic 3 is from the same germination but under 12/12 HPS from seed. You'd think the 18/6 would be showing by now!? Just wait longer? "the book" says to keep them under 18/6 until the plants show pre-flower then eliminate the males and transfer the females to 12/12. On the right track?

You have a magnifying glass? look at the plant from pics 1 and 2... check its nodes, where you are taking pics... if that little thing is raised up off the node by a tiny branch, it is a male, if it is sitting directly in to the node it is probably a female
