I was growing in a closet in a room we don't use. I didn't know that my husband stumbled onto my grow and had been visiting it regularly. I bought a bud box (grow tent) and moved it out of the house when it began to smell strongly. He was worried that it had dissapeared and wondered how to bring it into conversation. It felt amazing when he asked and I said....yes I am growing ,,,,,,,,,,,,,he told me he was excited! It is good to share!!

I cant believe you thought your husband wasnt going to find out. Im curious as to why you didnt tell him in the first place. Is he a non smoker? Its cool that hes excited. I have to talk to my girl about or i would go nuts waiting for them to grow. Its cool that he knows cause now you can grow together.

Big house.......I suggested a grow after visiting Amsterdam.he was not cooll with it. I thought he wouldn't find it. How dumb am I .......but so great to grow together!!!!! I don't want him to be in trouble.part of reason for keeping secret ....totally cool to grow together (great for sex) family hobby. Good to have someone to talk to who will not turn you in!!!

That's awesome Ellie. I had a similar situation where I started smoking again after quitting for 3 years. When a close friend gave me some seeds, I couldn't help but want to plant them and when hubby noticed my keen interest in these new little sprouts, he finally became suspicious and asked. He didn't really like the idea but he also knew how much marijuana helps my medical condition. He then laid out out some ground rules for me to follow and they've all been broken already.

I recently decided to tell our only two neighbours and my parents who were very cool about it. These are the only people except for my smoking buddy who know BUT it is such a relief for it to be accepted. I was getting tired of sneaking around and feeling like a criminal. Plus I hate hiding things because it's close enough to being a liar. ...don't want that.

It is good that your significant other knows. Then you can share the experience. I notice now that when I go out to look at my plants, my husband is just as interested, even though he doesn't smoke.
He also loves the smell of them but smoking just hasn't done anything for him just like drinking doesn't agree with me.

That's totally awesome Ellie......AND isn't this site the BEST thing ever. Now growing plants and being able to share with others here is great.

My mum knows about me smoking but dont smoke, she also knows about me growing but hasn't shown a intrest! Really annoying on the second day when they were all above surface and she was the only one in the house
