My grow area stays at 75-80`F with lights on;
but see; i don't leave my plant in my grow box when its time to put them to bed. When lights off time comes, I personally will move my plant(s) into my entertainment center.. which has a bottom section that has two cabinet like doors on the front.. and inside I lined the floor on the inside with cloth towels as to keep the pot from touching the cold floor.
So, yeah once they go into my little sleep box (its what i named it).. I'm pretty sure that it stays within room tempature which right now I keep my house around 72-75`F.
Which works out pretty well for me.. as there are no drastic drops or increases in temps.
Sudden increases or decreases in temps.. inside your grow area.. can stun the plant.. and therefore slow growth down. I'm sure that there are instances where plant's have actually died do to major (+/-) in temps.. as the plant can go into shock.. and not come out of shock unless the grower takes action.
I think your temps are okay though.. your plant(s) should be fine.
However, If I were you? I would try and keep my lights ON/ lights OFF temps as close to each other as possible to limit any temp stress to the plant(s).
In other words... a good temp range is any where from 65`F - 85`F. Usually.. anything above 85`F can cause problems.. and the same applies to any temps that dip below the 65`F mark. Now, you also have to remember... your plant will react how it want's to react.. because of it's genes. Some strains of
marijuana... come from cooler climates, therefore cooler grow room temps are okay for those strains.
Then you also have certain strains that are grown and breaded in warmer temp environments... so you have to almost take all of these variables into account.
Just remember this:
try to keep your grow box temps above 65`F... but below the 85`F mark.
I hope this helped you out some.. if not just message me and I can give you a link with some good information that you can read.
Have a good Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays to you and your family!!!
Peace.
