For some good cheap safe Co2 just shake up some yeast,sugar and water in a 2/3litre bottle,half full,and you'll be fine,remember to put it on a plate or a tray though as it will overflow because the lid must stay off,just in case you didn't know that

hold your hand over a candle for a bit and you'll get an oily residue on your fingers. I don't think that would be healthy for plants...

Candles produce co2, yes they are dangerous if just left, but ive been using them on my grows, and my place aint burned down, just like everything else in life.............think about it
