Well hello folks! Just to fill everyone in that did not follow my last grow, im going big lol! A good friend of mine and i are going in together and growing some danky mc'danksome. this will probly be a large post so buckle up grab a drink and some pop corn and follow along.

lights: four 1000w hortilux Super HPS for flower with fresca sol water cooled
system and fresca sol reflector

the ballast are going to be 4 infinity 1000 watt switchable running on
120v. the 4 lights will be split into two separate 20amp breakers so if
something happens with two we still have 2000 watts running.the
chiller for the lights will either be a 1/3 to 1/2 hp with a 50 to 100gl
res.

as of right now two 8 bulb t5 light systems from sunleaves.com from what i can remamber they put out about 80-90,000 lumen each.

plants: we have ourselves 8 moms;
g13

matanuska thunderfuck

pre '98 bubba

banana kush

sour kush

kushberry

now the final two are special. we recieved these ladies from a local reputable breader. the first is;
mr.E - which is og x and diesal
the second is;
48 gods - which is ak-48 x gods gift
these two are in soil for now, but as soon as we get a good clone from each we will be going hydro on thier ass.
all of our mothers are grown with mother plant nutrients. and so far they are loving it and it is living up to its claims. there are tons of clone sites with thick healthy stems. i highly recomend this to anyone growing moms.

clones: will be rooted in our 96 site turbo-cloner.

vedge: we will be putting them into our turbo cloner and leaveing them there until flower. the reason for this will be explained in my flowering section.
the moms will be perma-vedged in hydro-farm buckets with the res and circulation kit.

flower: we will be going for a perpetual harvest of 30 or so plants every 4 to 5 weeks so we will be running 2 aero-flo2 30 site systems. now the reason for the short vedge time is because the distance between sites on the aero-flo are only 5 or 6" so we cant have them too big. they will stay in the cloner for about two to three weeks after showing a good amount of roots. we will not be filling all 96 spots on the cloner so i think we have the space. plus the banana grows insanely fast at about an inch to inch and a half a day. it was the same size as the others when we picked her up.

water: we have ourselves our very own 100gpd ro system from hydro-logic and are being monitored by our tri meters

ummm... am i missing anything? im pretty medicated right now so im not sure if i covered everything. let me know what u all think and like allways, all comments good or bad are welcome.

So we got up two of the fresca sol's and thier hoods hung last night. The plumping will be up for them as soon as they are all up. Pictures will be up asap

The whole grow room so far cost us about $6700 but that includes the construction the entire room was build by hand. So just the drywall,plywood,doors, screws, electricity (ruuning are own individual breakers and seperated electricity into the grow room) Still gotta get bout a 75gallon rez and 3 more ballsts which everything should get bought this weekend.

As for vertical as soon as we get a few harvest in were gonna be building a wall down the middle of the budding room and set up vertical all around the room with 6000watts for liquid lumens hanging down the middle of the room. But that still a few months away. Well back to work il keep you all posted and try to upload some more picks 2nite. Of the rest of the set up. Happy Growing all :-D

what was the cost forthe liquid cooled set up for one light?? thanks
the cost for one set up differes. You can pick up the reflector for about $265-300 online plus shipping then theres 2 different reflectors you can choose from one is the wing for about $30 $40 or the magnum reflector that i went with for about $80 to $100. Then there the active cooling you can either run about a 50 gallon rez for the fixture with out a water chiller to keep it cool to about 80degrees or so or you can get a water chiller and run it with a 5gallon bucket of water at 65degrees. So just depends on which way you wanna go. It can cost any where from 300$ to 650$. Hope this helps happy growing :)

Hmm not sure how i didnt set it up properly. Ive been useing 3 pairs of them for a little bit now and i keep having different problem with different ones. Some wont catch the weight properly, some catch it to soon, Some dont catch the weight at all till u screw with it a bit, and some blow u into pieces for no reason hehe. The rope ratchet are awesome tho and same price. Lot ezer to set up and the design of it is almost flawless.

update time!! so we had a little bit of an accident last night. i heard a loud bang coming from the vedge room, and when i walked in... well the light tried to murder our bubba. the light came down on one side and crushed her sheering off a few branches one leaving a gaping hole in the main stalk. after about 12 hours the hole is closed up and she is showing no sign of stress from the accident. what have we learned? do not use those shity ass grow yoyos from the hydro store. click here to check them out. what happened was the damn thing pretty much exploded. they were rated for more weight than was on them, there just crappy. the branches that broke off i cut and threw them into the turbo cloner just incase thier mom didnt make it.

so now for the pics.
the first two are what broke off the yoyo causing it to fall

the next few are of bubba,

next ones are of the cloner with the lonely three clones.

well thats it for now the ladys are doing good. the banana will be topped tonight and thrown in the cloner. we bought another stand alone bucket and the top of the banana will go in that and vedged nice and big. just a little side project plant. thanks all.
(redo of my last post better write up here then my last one)

you will be able to they work amazing for vertical growing. After a few harvests with these were gonna set up the whole budding room for vertical grow. with all 4 1000 watts and probably end up buying 2 more 1000watts liquid lumens. but thats in the hopefully near future. If we end up doing that il make sure to get another journal going :). Happy Growing.

They work great hanging vertically! I have a 1000 watt hps with foliage literally inches away from the bulb. The intense light that close to the plants does seem to cause some defeciences to appear on the plant side facing the light, which I originally thought was some bleaching or light poisoning. Once I got it dailed in though it's simply amazing.

Subscribed, sick looking setup.

Very curious about those water cooled hoods - thinking of running two 1K of them in my 8x4 tent.

Without a chiller, a 100 gallon reservoir would be reasonably sufficient to keep their temps in line?

And I'm guessing I can't use my reservoir with nutes in it, as it would damage the light somehow?

Thanks for your time, and keep up the good work.
