One of my mothers is getting too tall for the grow room and reaching into the light. I have been told to only take clones from the bottom part where the new growth is, but I was wondering if I can top my mother and use it at a clone?

Yes you can, may take a day or two longer to root.

you can take clones from any branch that looks acceptable. I take clones evenly off my mother. So it still maintains a general shape and isnt naked on just one side (or bottom half, i dont want a lollipop mom)
