yea pretty much... unless you stress the clone too much and make it turn hermie... you should take several cuttings. especialy if its your first time. as you will likely have a low survival rate.

Yes, clones from a female plant always give you females, simple genetics. If the mother has been over stressed you do run a very small risk of a hermie, but I wouldn't worry about that. You should take multiple cuttings, esp if you like the plant. There's a lot of info on this site about how to clone by folks who know what they're doing. They'll give you great advice on how to do it with a high success rate, and minimal difficulty. Think positive!! This is a "weed". GL Let us know how it goes, HH
