Default Where is the best place??????
I have many places to grow im new to this and i want to make my first grow to be a good grow and don't waste time, space or money. i'm somewhat handy so i would be doing some diy but i will be buying most parts together... how could i keep the heat down in the home and from being seen??? im also thinking about getting a small propane Generator that comes on every other day to cut the power bill...

Now to point....

I have three places to grow with no problem which would be a attic (about 700sqft) my basement (about 600 sqft use for this) and my garage i have a 2 and half garage...

I would like my yield to be the best i can get and max the space....

I will be use a tent or closet for mothers, clones and seedlings.. a 24 clone replacement every 2 weeks..

and a 48 in flowering room moving 24 every 2 weeks to my bud room..

bud room split in half..with about 80 plants total...

I would have 3 t5 or 600watt for flowering..

and two setups for budding of 3 1000watt

i was just wondering how do that sound and what would be the best place for the plants..

Now to me the attic is the best for safety and for letting heat out but the far from water??? can tap in to the ac of the home and the heat pods on the roof...

garage to much going on that anybody can walk up on... but the closest to water and 240 v has its own breaker

basement close to water more then enough space just a not as hidden away as the attic... has its own breaker can tap in to the ac of the home easy

may use for mother, clone and seedling room..

I was thinking about this for the flowering room because i see how plants just get so full and look so healthy...http://www.4hydro.com/hydroponics/aeroFlo60.asp

its just the keeping the plants growing right.....

Has long has the plants are grown in a space that is out of public view. The one good thing that i like about this thread is that you are doing the homework.Belive me the more advice and care taken at this stage will be the differance between ounces and very little yeilds.Great dvd is george cervantes ultimate grow dvd this dvd will show you how to grow and also how to make a basic grow room. The only thing that i would add to the dvd is i would use plaster board on the out side and skim it with plaster this will insure a light proof grow room. And one painted will look like it has always been there.

1. garage
2. basement
3. attic

i always nix the attic because heat is an issue.
plus if it snows, the lights will probably heat the roof and create a conspicuous spot where snow never sticks.

basements stay cool and are lockable.
plus there are usually mad vents to the outside everywhere.

garages are easily accessible and have water and electricity near by.

attics are hot and dusty and have insulation everywhere.

can you run ducting to the attic to vent it from the garage..?

first i would like to say thanks for the reply.....
I have open space above the garage that i can send the duct work to and make a normal looking vent in the garage..

my attic is finish and has about 900 total sqft and i was wondering the samething about the heat up there but there is vents etc..

the basement is cool all the time so i thought that was a good place but i do have a movie room down there but i live in the middle of no where.. i just thought the garage was just to open.. thats the only problem..

Intense I600

This is the monster sized Intense grow tent from Secret Jardin!
The Intense model I600 is the largest rectangular grow tent from Secret Jardin and measures a whopping 20' deep x 10' wide x 7' tall. It weighs 275 lbs.
If your garden outgrows the Intense I600, you can link it to any other Intense tent to create an even larger indoor greenhouse!
Made with the same precision and care that Secret Jardin puts into all of its portable grow rooms, the Intense I600 features a washable 95% reflective Mylar interior lining and roll-up access doors secured with high-quality zippers.

What sets these grow rooms apart from the others? The Intense tents are the "Cadillacs", giving you:
The capability of venting from nearly every place imaginable (lots of ports)
100% air tight (no odor, no co2 loss, no light leaking)
Shell material that is more than twice the standard thickness
Link multiple grow rooms together (lots of zippers)
Horizontal wall support all the way around (more support poles)
Sturdy rubber washtub bottom
The strong aluminum frame of the Intense I600 is held together by sturdy dual-locking stainless steel joints. It's capable of supporting up to 150 pounds of equipment at the center of the tent.

If you need to expand your growing area, you can easily connect Intense grow tents to one another, even using different sizes. The possibilities for customization and expansion are unlimited!
