Hey guys. I've been smoking for quite long time now and i've only realized i have a question that i SHOULD have the answer to by now, but i just don.t

When it comes to shitty weed... i mean reggie, regular, schwag, ect... why are there seeeds all in the flattened dry buds???? Is this because it was a male plant? Why wouldnt the grower just weed out the males to distribute a seedless and female product? I guess i just don't understand. Can seeds from this same bag of regular produce female seeds/plants that won't leave you with a similar shitty end-product?

Any response would be great. Have been wondering about this for a long time now.

i guess they just plant a bunch of weed and come back later after it's completly done.. They let it dry on the plant thats why most your scwag weed is brown.. The seeds are all compact and crushed i would assume because they compress and ship it.. I grow bag seed i live in the us and have yet to drop the big bucks for some decent genetics. All my plants are fine my seeds are all from mids & they look totally diffeent than what they came from..
so yea you can grow bag seed and still end up w/ a great final product

my theory on the reason ppl dont pull there males for better product is that they have so much of a product that is going to sell anyways why go threw all the trouble,why more work ,when the;lll get there issue anyways,right..as for the seeds,surethere will be females,but in the end the bud u grow is only as good as the bud u smoked,im sure it could look alot nicer,and probly taste better couse you will have probly put some love into the growing and curing process!and the time u pick is a factor.remember this is only my thought on this but i think ive picked up enough game here to put my input on this,lets see if anyone else agrees or dis agrees.........rascalone

I semi-agree with you... i mean, look at it this way. But why can't the weed you grow be better than you smoked it before? I mean, isn't this how genetics are done and how bad ass strains come to fruition because of countless grows of bud, selecting only it's finest seeds and offspring? I think there is something to be said for breeding a certain seed to make it better and better with cross pollination and different scientific methods.

Moreover, the bud with seeds in it cannot be as good as a straight female plant that HASN'T been pollinated. You lose so much THC and overall quality when the thing takes seed because all the bud directs it's energy to producing, protecting, and nuturing the seeds it's making. So... that's what i think. I'd like to put my hypothesis to test one day when i get my own place and can experiment with genetics, breeding, and cross pollination.

Yeah, the mexi's have so much coming in, they can afford to sell it cheaper with less care, which is why there's seeds. I've had schwag on more than one occasion that didn't have seeds, but that's a rarity.

Also, all that schwag at one time believe it or not, was just as good as the dank nugs you pay 4 times as much for. Just so happens that moving 20 tons of uncompressed herb can be a problem, and they also don't cure it, and rarely dry it out all the way causing mold. This mean, yes, you can find extremely good genetics in bagseed, but it's a game. I believe I saw fdd2blk say something along the lines of "I've always got some bagseed going in the corner, it's like a christmas present each time cause you never know what you're gunna get, if it'll be good, etc...". I like that statement.

Since the tunnel bust of early this year(states).... I have a feelin schwag is gunna go up in price, and be a bit more scarce, atleast around here. So much of it is already in the U.S. though, that we still haven't seen any change in the market, but soon enough.... God I wish everyone would/could just smoke nugget :P
