I am planning on ordering some feminized seeds from the single seed centre. (worldwide-marijuana-seeds.com)
Im planning on getting 3 strains. (Alaskan Ice, Sugar Black Rose, and The Church)
I only want to produced mothers with the seeds. Do feminized produce only female of fem and hermies? How many of each should i get to ensure i have a strong, vigorous mother of each strain?

Fem seeds produce female and hermi plants. Sometimes the plants become hermi due to stress or genetics. As for a strong mother plant u should be able to find some in a pack of seeds. If ur doing a pick N' mix then I'd say buy atleast 4 seeds of each. However, it's up to you, I try and get out cheap by buying jst 1 fem seed of each strain. Some would do differently. Good luck!

Thanks for responding, i was thinking about 2 of each strain. as im buying them individually not in packs. I've heard that if tey do hermie its usually a couple of weeks into flower and you can clip the pollen sacks off and be ok in most cases. Is this correct?

Feminized seeds do have that tendency to gohermie if ill treated, YES, so with feminized seeds one should always be very careful during the first 4 weeks or so of flowering especially as significant messing about with the timer has a good chance of your prized lady growing male flowers /gong hermie/. If you are planning to select mothers, itis always best to have as many female plants as possible and than to select the plant with the most sought after characteristics. I would suggest atleast 4 seeds of each kind to give you a little choice and 10-15 of each to really look for tat super female. From what i understand there are also stabilised feminised seeds (church is one i think)Findout if they are stabilised because from what i hear strains that have been stabilised have seed that produce plants that are all the same in terms of phenos and characteistics. BUT I AM A NEWBIE TO CULTIVATION MYSELF SO PLEASE LOOK FURTHER INTO STABILISED FEMINISED SEEDS. I hope i have helped with what little knowledge i have!!

ive grown church from greenhouse which was fem,turned out lovely no problems.doin trainwreck,cheese and rhino now,there 2weeks flower now

Ive grown the ice ,save your money and time and buy something else.That alaskian ice is the worst genetics Ive bought yet.Ive been running GHS trainwreck and love it but stay away from AI its a rippoff.Theres a whole thread of pissed off growers on ic mag complaining about that stretchy shit.Theres two phenos and one grows through the roof and does not have much bud on it.Ill post you some pics in a minute of this bullshit.................peace

The Church is a magnificent plant!! It can handle cold and poor weather like few others can. It is anti mold and very disease resistant. it is also extremely easy to grow and requires little babying and TLC. Ultimately i feel it is just a little weak in terms of 'High' but does have a nice couch hugging stoney feeling to it.
