I have to agree with mr therapy on alaskan ice, i ahve spoken to a couple of people who also said the same. that it stretched a lot and produced little. But they also said the stuff was mind blowing, real good shit. it seems there are two phenos one is more hazey and hence stretches more and produces less like a sativa would. the other pheno has more white widow in it hence stretches less and produces being more indica-ish. i would suggest you look into the alaskan ice further it might be what you like yet others do not want, because it may be commercially poor performing in comparison to some other strains but the high it produces may be better depending on what you are looking for.
IF I MAY SUGGEST LEMON SKUNK or TRAINWRECK from greenhouse seeds both kick ass plants that produce potent smelly shit. BUT LIKE I SAID I FEEL THE ALASKAN ICE SHOULD BE GIVEN A TRY AND CERTAINLY HAS A VERY HIGH THC/CBD/CBG CONTENT GIVE IT A WHIZZ MATE, IF NOT TRY THE LEMON OR TRAINWRECK!!

If you are wanting to get the best genetics for a female mother plant then stay clear of femanised seeds and get some regular and pick out the females.This will insure that the plants that you are growing will be 100 % female.

Thanks for all the replies everyone. I dont think i will be going with the alaskan ice any more. I may just get the church and the sugar black rose. Regular seeds. I was thinking that would probably be the way to go for a mother. I just hate the whole process of sexing plants. But i suppose you cant cut corners when it comes to quality.

I really like both lemon skunk and trainwreck. But i can go get both strains without even traveling 3 blocks from my house. I want to grow something that isnt so common around town. The lemon, not so much, but Oregons got white widow and trainwreck for days. Any recommendations on a strain with similar qualities as the alaskan ice (thc, cbd, cbn content) but no so much of a pain in the ass. Im looking for a sativa dominant hybrid. Allthough it comes with the tiva, i would like minimal stretch, and pretty good production. Not really on a commercial level, just a nice productive medial grow. I want something that will get me retarded. ++rep if you help me find the perfect strain.
