So Cal Edison Report High Electric Usage?

Electricity in So Cal is very expensive if you go over your baseline allotment. You climb to $.30 per KW.

I have calculated that the 6 1000 watt flower on 12/12 and 7 400 watt on 18/6 along with AC, duhumidifier and fans will run about $1,800 a month. Holy S__T!

Although this is a legal grow with plant count in line with patient count, my lawyer says when they raid your legal grow, they arrest you, take your equipment, money and plants and it is then up to you to prove the legal status of your grow. "guiltey until proven inocent" I guess for MMJ growers.

Anyway, anyone with real knowledge on this, knows the law or whether So Cal Edison turns in power usuage of this kind?

From what I understand, you will NOT be raided if you are a legit medicinal grower in a state with a legitimate system (According to Eric Holder, US Attorney General and thank you BARACK OBAMA). So, I doubt you have much to worry about. I would also doubt that Edison would call you in, it just means more money for them. If a law enforcement agency calls them on the other hand, they might send power usage. But in California, I wouldnt worry about it. Just make sure you pay your taxes and that huge power bill on time =]

I would like to know about this as well. I run CFL right now so i don't worry about usage.... but soon i will want to know.

be on the lookout for a new prop on february's ballot. we are gathering signatures in cali, need 650,000 registered voter signatures and we will be able to vote on it in february. My friend leading this got 3100 registered votes in 6 days, 2 hours a day just in his podunk ass town. I will be taking a petition to San Diego, Murrieta, Temecula and parts of Riverside.
