You need to talk to an attorney who specializes in 4th amendment violations and or marijuana cases. You may have a case against the police or possibly even wormsway for giving your info out. How did the cops get this info anyway?

I have no clue how the cops got the info. They have not spoken to me yet. I guess that have my number. What's even worse is there are victims out there o real crimes that could really use the cops help. Instead they're wasting their time with this bs.

I'm serious man, I would be digging for information on lawyers who specialize in these sorts of intrusions on individual privacy. I agree with you about not leaving a paper trail. It's always best to pay cash for grow supplies or anything "grow" related. And DIY whenever possible. If we are not carefully protecting our rights as American citizens we won't have any rights before too long. Good luck and be careful.

They recently did a bust on a grow operation in the Sumpter County area (Wildwood, right off I75 by the Turnpike). Saw it on BayNews9 (but doesn't seem to be on the site) According to the news report, it occured because of the quantity of equipment that was purchased which 'raised red flags.' They didn't say what, from where or how the red flags were raised, but they gloated over how they busted a 'starting grow operation that could supply millions of dollars in marijuana to kids and addicts.'

Thanks to their integrity (read: lack of), I wouldn't have been surprised if they had added "which would then be used to rape women and other children due to its harmful, super-human, killer-instinct effect!"

It happens more in small towns, I suspect its probably due to the company working with local law enforcement, it could also be them trying to get reward money for busts since its usually up to $1,000 per bust around here.

I lived in Fl for 18 years so I can verify that cops in FL do this kind of stuff. I was arrested once for test driving a car being sold at a used car dealership. The car dealer forgot to gas up the car and it ran out of gas. A cop stopped and came to see what was the matter, I told him and was very polite. He asked me if he could search the car, I thought for a sec and told him that I didn't know if I could give permission since the car was owned by the car lot. He put me in the back of his car, searched the car I was testdriving and found 2 seeds and a marijuana stem under the passenger's seat. I don't know if it was there before he searched or it came from his pocket. And no I wasn't smoking, I usually don't when buying a car. Anyway I spent the night in county and when I went in front of the judge the next day to get ROR'd he flat out told me that the only way I was getting out that day was if I pleaded no contest, so I did. I got 6 months probation over it.

But if you live in an area where it's illegal, then it's easy enough to get a PO Box under an assumed name and address. Just don't use the PO Box after the lights arrive and you should be fine. Just call your local post office and ask what forms of ID they need, then get a fake ID and get your PO Box.

If you live in an area where it is legal then I wouldn't worry about it. Thank you President Obama for telling the fed law agencies that they shouldn't be going after those who are doing in accordance with local laws.

That said, you still have to be carefull with other things you do. If the feds get you for something else, they'll attatch anything else they find and increase the number of charges that you're facing. So if you get caught for insurance fraud to use an example, if the feds find the plants you'll also be facing a fed drug charge.
