Default Does the speed of the weed depend on the breed?

Say that 10 time fast after a blunt... so I've been looking at pics online and it seems like a lot of people's plants are growing faster then mine, although mine looks very healthy. I was just wondering if diffrent strains grow at diffrent speeds? Or is it that I have the wrong color spectrum as I'm using a 400 watt hps rather than a mh or cfl with more blue? Thanks!!

If the light is right the buds should grow tight, But if the light is dim then there wont be much to TRIM LOLOL

10 square foot closet got half bocked off for now to conserve light. 9 plants right now in beer pong cups, about a week old starting thier second leave sets. 400 watt hps about a foot or so away. Fox farm happy frog soil. Water about every 2-3 days, whenever dry, fan for exhaust. 1 ak48 fem 1 snow white fem 5 ice, 2 white widow

sounds normal to me only being a week old,

I would transplant them into 3 gal buckets, or if u want to save space 1 gal is good for a month, the bigger the roots get the bigger the plant will grow. If u want your plant to get 1 foot tall, then u need a square foot of growing medium. thats my two cents.

yeah wait till lots of roots are visable from the bottom of your cups, but not so long that your little cups are root bound.
