How important is adding a fan to your grow box? What does it do for your plant? Also just to throw this in, ive heard from a few people that playing music in your grow room somehow helps. Is this just bs or is there actually something to it?

The fan helps strengthen the plants stalk so it will be able to hold the weight of the buds. I think. Some one correct me if I am wrong. Ive read some were about the sound or the vibration of the music helps with something but I cannot remember.

having a plant without fans is like locking a baby in a car with all the windows up in 100* weather..its gonna die..,

From my research, the fan is help strengthen the plants, keep the leaves moving for constant CO2 uptake, and help keep things cool.

I've always heard that plants like music and especially classical.

Fans good music,,I call BS,,,Talking and breathing on your plants good gives them co2.

fans strengthen stems/stalks and the music certainly cant do any harm,its proven that plants react to sound!

fans are needed when it's hot in your grow room but I shut mine down if it's not hot

Myth busters did some shit on the effects of music and plants. Seven small greenhouses were set up on the M5 Industries roof. Four were set up with stereos playing endlessly looping recordings (as having the MythBusters actually talk to the plants could contaminate the samples with their expelled carbon dioxide): Two of negative speech, two of positive speech (Kari and Scottie each made one positive and one negative inducing soundtrack), a fifth with classical music and a sixth with intense death metal music. A seventh greenhouse, used as a control sample, had no stereo. The greenhouses with the recordings of speech grew better than the control, regardless of whether such talk was kind or angry. The plants in the greenhouse with the recording of classical music grew better, while the plants in the greenhouse with the recording of intense death metal grew best of all despite somewhat dying, due to the fact that the battery died on one of the timers that was watering the plants.

So if you decide to play music for your plants go with death metal it works the best lol
