hello..
my plants are 11'' tall.
in their 6 weeks ov veging.
im thinking ov flowering tonight at 8pm maby...

got a few questions 1st tho..
first is do mirrors reflect light?
are they good to use as a reflector?


second thing is..
im using 1 gallon pots so far and i see roots at the bottom of the pots and just under the soil surface. lots of them.
looks cramped!!

should i trancefur into larger pots for sure!!

Yes, mirrors work very well. Most of us use Mylar as it's cheap and easy to work with.





If you want to increase plant size (and ultimately higher yields) and can afford the space, yes, you should transfer them into bigger pots. Otherwise you would leave them in the smaller pots if you are limited on space.

Mirrors do reflect light however they aren't very efficient. Better to use Panda film, white paint or mylar. If your seeing roots already all bunched up, then it is better to transplant them and give it a few days before switching to 12/12. 1 gallon pots are pretty small for a 11" plant. Remember the plant will double in size in the first week or two if its got the room to do it.

mirrors create hot spots and belong in the bathroom not in the growroom...if u want to fry you plants and hit them with uneven light then mirrors a must... mylar is cool but can get expensive... i just paint the surface flat white and that gives all the reflection you need

you could always do low stress training(lst) and keep them tied down... or you can SCROG... screen of green by weaving the canopy through chicken wire. keeps the canopy at a uniform grow hight and makes the stretch easier to compensate for... whats your grow space and lighting and such?

52inches of grow height all together from
floor to roof.

people who actually know their stuff on this forum will tell you mirrors suck ask it in the advanced growing tech forum and they tell ya the same... they reflect more heat then light... flat white painted walls will reflect more light.... 52 inches of space...... what bud are you growing? and what are you using for lights... i need all the info of the grow space to make a proper estimate.. as a sativa will stretcha shit ton more then a indica... either way at leastit will double in height in flower.

Yes, as MrSteve pointed out I'm actually a total noob to all of this at the moment, but on the subject of reflective surfaces I would highly suggest Mylar. I believe I paid 35$ for 50', or you can also get 20$ for 25'. Checkout htgsupply.com.
