ya im just curious cuz iv been looking at some pics of plant that have been topped and dnam lots more budz but im new to growing and yah just trying to lern wuts best

Fim would be best imo but topping is a great way to pull a second cola as well. Fimming is basically the same only harder and ur target is smaller but it will give u 4-8 main colas compare to 2

If you are limited to space and height then yeah topping is good. But he is right fim is amazing. Just do a search on it and look at some results you can get. If I were you fim all the way.

Has long has the plants have been grow correct and have nice close internodes than thre is not that much differance in the overhall weight.I was thinking about this also when i put my last crop on 12/12 off and to be honest the 1 cola will weigh has much has the 2 smaller ones.But if you are struggleing for room then i would top the plants this will give you that bit extra room height wise.I would also top the plants during the veg stage of growth this will force 2 seperate stems to shoot out and then top them once in flowering this will give you 4 main cola's.If i have not exsplained this very good then watch the greenhouse grow dvd on you tube this will show you how to grow a plant that has up to 8 colas.

alright thanks. i was also thinking say i cut all branchez (and cloned them)OFF so that its one huge cola.wood it be bigger cuz the fan leafs hold food for the buds and u took the branches so thares the main cola, nods and lots of fanleafs left so thares lots of food for the budz.

It depends a lot on your set up....If you have low penetration lights, no...If you do, top it and have multiple colas
