I am growing in a closet and my plant is about a month old. I am using a four foot long flourescent tube light some of the time and also a compact flourescent sometimes. I was wondering if anyone knows how i can make my plant more potent. this is my first plant so i have no clue what i'm doing and i have read over parts of this site and not found some things i am looking for. if you have any tips to make my plant more potent or grow faster.

more lights will make it bigger. what kind of nutes are u using?

i am using willow branches in my water and potting soil. will tropical plant soil work better? oh and thanks for replying my first post

willow branches ? u want it sandy and loamy try to avoid barky crap as the roots struggle more. u can pickup alot of products at your local hydro store that will help your plant thrive

o and they more light the better it will grow if u dont have enuff then yeah its gonna grow slower

ok, should i have both of the lights on and as close to the plant as possible?

yes & add a few more CFLs
willow water is good to start clones for rooting, I dont think it does much for a growing plant

will wilow water substitute for rooting hormone? and i think it shouldn't hurt the plant at all because there in nutrients in the water. right?

willow water is great to root clones in as it contains hormones that induce rooting
it wont hurt the plant but at this stage it wont do any good either.
