I'm a middle class son of a long-time pot smoker father and a couple years ago, he confessed this to me (although i had already known for years). He is one of the most loving and caring fathers I have come across (in comparison to my friends' dads). He is very liberal and knows i smoke (i believe) and he lets me drink blah blah. My growing season is over now and i didn't yield that much due to land development taking my spot. All my smoke is gone and i do not want to support the illegal smuggling and all that shit of marijuana - everything i have smoked in my life has been grown from family (and a couple times from friend's dealers at parties and shit, whaddya gonna do?). So anyways my smoke is gone and I'm gonna have to grow indoors. However this man, my father, has the nose of a superhuman for marijuana.

I was thinking about sitting down and discussing a deal in which i grow and we split the bud 50/50. I know more about growing than most 20+ year olds (i'm 17 by the way) due to my uncle and dad telling me all about it.

Do you think i should confront him about this, i really want some nice smoke of my own so i won't have to keep nagging it off my other family members - however i don't want my dad to have a bad reaction to the question.

That is a great question man! Trust me Honesty is the best policy. They might be up to it and it will bring your family closer together. AND then they might also help you pay for it. It's a win win. Plus I am sure it is not your house. Tell them you want to learn from them, apeal to thier ego. You look up to them for guidance. You see where I'm going with this?

you mean your 18? I would talk to him about it.. I think if your under his roof you should have his permission and if he smokes work something out with him, he might even like the idea and help you invest in the gear
