it is a fancy camera Digital Single Lens Reflex
it is the kind with the interchangeable lenses, i picked up a used one for about 300 that came with an awesome external flash and a 28-300mm lens. Around this time of year people are dumping their old ones to get new ones in time for the holidays.

also you can get a el cheapo jewelers loop at places like harbor freight.

got ya ! i have little digi cam no lens change but I didnt even think of jewelers loop, will look for one of them thanx! do you know the magnification of a loop? just wondering

Don't know what a loupe's magnification is but you can also get geology hand lenses (10x up to 30x). Found mine in a prospecting store, don't know where else they sell them

hold up the finer focus part of a magnifying lens (which you should already have to solar puff!) to the lens of the camera, and you can mess around with the focus to get some nice close up pics.

most digital cameras have a macro setting, be sure you use that if applicable. macro lens' cost big bucks, and you shouldnt buy one unless you have a nice dslr =[ my friend has one, we use it for tons of stuff. I'd get one, but they run over 500 bucks, not inluding all the fun gadgets to go along with
