Hi so im not at this stage yet but wanted to get the info in advance. my indoor closet grow has space issues and i only have about 5ft of vertical area, and obviously then the light needs to hang down. So currently im in week 2 of veg and im at around 8 inches, i know that when i flower my plant will double in size, how long should i wait to flower so my babys dont overgrow there area? Any help will be great!

plan on the plant doubling or tripling from the height that you started flowering at. i am going to assume you have a hps light so lets say that you need a 6-12" or so between the light and the plants, a foot for the light so that leaves you with around 3-4 feet to grow. i would flower at 1.5-2 feet of height to maximize your space. also what strain is it? or if you dont know is it more indica or sativa? this will also play a big part of knowing what height to flower. good luck

Ya its a 600w hps...its purple #1 which i read will grow a bit taller and kushberry which is supposed to be more bushy which is good. this is my first grow so im not familar with LST which i no can also help, but im reading up on it now, thanks for the advice.

i would suggest lst'ing, at least the purple one, cause it should get alot taller. by doing this you can not only expose budsites to better lighting, but also allowing time for the kushberry to catch up on some height. is the kushberry from dna genetics?

Not sure what you mean by DNA genetics, but they are clones. I would try LST's with the Purple however when i transplanted i screwed up which strains were which so i have no way of differing between the 2 currently. I cant find any good pics of babys to make the comparision either so im kinda inbetwen a rock and a hard place.

you'll know when they grow out probably. dna genetics is a seed breeder that has a kushberry strain.

look into lst, topping, and scroging.
also, find a way to hang the light as high as possible..
