should i use a mix of fox farms ocean forest and happy frog or just one or the other? (i was planning on using 2/3 ocean forest and 1/3 happy frog)
and should i mix perlite with it? if so, how much?
any advice will be appreciated!

I have always used 1/2 ocean 1/4 light warrior and a 1/4 perlite. Happy frog is fine to tho. Good luck. Remember there are enough nutes for the first month.

I was told to plant seeds in Light Warrior, transplant into Happy Frog for veg and transplant into Ocean Forest again for flowering. You can mix any of these soils together to get your own custom mix. FF soils are good to go right out of the bag so you don't have to add perlite although a lot of people do. You will need to water more frequently if you add perlite. Hope this helps.

Good choice. For the price of perlite vs. Ff i always add edtra perlite. You cant go wrong with any combo. Good luck!!
