Mylar97%reflective flat white 95% Which is cheaper. FLAT WHITE! How much of a difference does it make from mylar? NO MESURABLE difference in my experience. My reflector up top was done with Aluminum tape. NO IT WILL NOT CAUSE HOT SPOTS WITH CFL LIGHTS!

I don't have to have growing experience to know that vinyl is not 95% reflective. Especially when it is that thin. I'm glad you haven't found a measurable difference between the two. If you truly like the vinyl tape why not tape your entire enclosure?

Mylar is about the same price as paint. You get more out of it, and it's vastly more reflective.

You could purchase twelve mylar emergency blankets for fourteen dollars, or you could purchase 25 feet of 2 mil pure mylar for about twenty bucks. It's not expensive. Not even relatively to flat white paint.

It's more then two percent. Much more. It doesn't matter much since you are content with your results usig what you are using.

I could be wrong and don't feel like breaking out the calculator so if you could provide some proof to back up your claim I would be very interested in reading it.

Edit: My lack of experience growing marijuana is in no way a reflection of my knowledge of growing plants in general. Also I am into min/maxing as much as possible. I find pushing even two or three metrics to the best attainable conditions for any given environment can and will produce vastly superior results.

My bad, I didn't mean to make it sound like i took such offence. BUT i do remember my girlfriend just harpin on me over growin and bein on this site. I think that's what set me off that day.

the lights and your little ones are too far apart from each other thats why the long reach, always try to keep the light as close as possible, in your case since you have a cfl you can keeo them really close, if this is your first grow in pc box study the plant see whats wrong with it and also learn from your mistakes,

You are absolutely wrong in this case my friend, and the reason is you did not read the story about those two nugs.

I appreciate your attempt at advice though. I have mastered the art of CFL growing. And your right keeping them 1-2 inches away throughout the entire grow is essential.

Bwuahaha I know the feeling. Hence the super stealth grows I'm working on. Even if one is doscovered and destroyed I have at least one other

Ask AMV why my rep bar is red! He's a dickface! 'tis all good now.

I will be posting pics of my second grow once I get my pc case and seeds. My first grow is rather pathetic, relative to what I want.

My first batch of seedlings were all males. Out of eight. That's horrid luck. Only at day four but I can post a pic of them if you are really interested.
