I have my plants laid out on my furnace room floor under a 400HPS/MH light.. well i had some recent inspections and they nearly seen my plants. Fortuantly I was home and closed down shop before they had a chance to knock on my door. So i need to be more careful and i think the best thing I can do is to grow stealthy. I know a tent isnt 100% stealth but I dont think anybody would think twice about it if they seen it in my apt. This is a low traffic area but when there is traffic then its usually someone from the rental agency doing maintence or inspecting... let me know if Im going about this the wrong way.. but i think a grow tent would work for me.... I dont know much about them but i do know a little about growing

I need something for small short plants.. i got some lowriders going but i will be growing a small mother plant, cloning her, and then flowering the clones immediatly... So, Im thinking that I probably should get a dual chamber (small) grow tent... but there are so many out there I dont know what to choose from or what to look for in a grow tent.... any advise or help is welcomed

The way you explain your situation I would not feel comfortable growing. Don't you have a buddy you can use as a home and share the wealth with?

I use a tent in a bedroom. the only problem is with the ducting coming out of it. It doesn't look like a wardrobe anymore. If you can tuck it away in a bedroom where they don't need to get into all set. What about a closet set up? If not you can probably build/buy something that looks like a dresser or a cabinet and modify it. a little work but probably worth it.. bookcase, media shelf, file cabinet just a thought.

i dont have them coming in very often.. maybe every few months... so whenever they come thru i gotta have my stuff tucked away someplace... i think a armorie would work

The way i see it... instead of growing in a big ass room I should get a small box/tent of some kind so i can conceal my grow more... even put a pad lock on it hopefully... It would be kick ass if i could get a 100% stealth grow goin...

100% stealth is tough. More planning than anything else. When you walk by no noise,smell,light etc... modify it so the vents are on top or in back depending on height then segment the box. I've seen ads for stuff in magazines but to pricey. Pimp it out with the mylar or paint the inside flat white. Search stealth grow box on here I've seen a couple that look real effecient take your ideas from that. 1000 ways to skin a cat just gotta find your way. i have 3 different GroLab tents. A GL120 4x4x6 for mothers, a GL 80L 2.5x5x6 for veg, and a GL290 9x9x6 for flower. They are very exceptional grow tents, although a bit pricey, but still cheaper than a stealth box. They are also easy to break down quickly if you have your landlord or whatev over your place. They are pretty high quality and come in just about every size imaginable. check em out at better grow hydro's website.

the tents look insulated and apear to have either mylar or that radar blocking film on the inside of the tent. If I go with a tent, which i might, then Im lookin for a small one to stick my 400 digital inside of and maybe have a second chamber for a mother plant and clones... the only problem is they are a bit pricy just like Pain was saying... 200+ for one which is an enormously high amount but i might just pay that price at the end of the month

i seen one on ebay.com for 90 bucks and it was the 300 dollar type of the hydro site... is there a catch 22 here?
