All growers are welcome to join in and give your ideas to the rules and guidelines but I am starting a BIG BUD CONTEST on 11-15-09. You've all seen the Guinness book of world records pumpkin---hell ya!!!. I want to see who can grow the biggest,fattest, dankest nug on RIU. Plus a little competition is fun once in a while. Lets try not to get too serious with the rules and of course tons of bud porn will be sweet...

Welcome to the 1st----VonDanks BIG BUD CONTEST----------You've been blabbering about all these great grows and knowledge(including myself)----let's see if you got skillz...

Of course there will be a prize or prises----I don't know what yet but something----maybe all entries could toss something in the pot and the winner take all???---I don't know---I'm sure there are growers that would like to be part of the contest and their are those that want to "root" for their fav grower(s).

Ironically I just went two days ago to the "store" and picked up 3 clones (White Widow, Big Foot, Sour Diesel). I also picked up one seedling of Godzilla. I am still new to growing, but my first attempt is going great (Citral). I normally like clones simply because they are pretty much guaranteed to be female. Hey Doc, why is it that information about the Godzilla strain is limited at best. It seems to be the favorite at the store right now. I use the exact soiless mixture that the store uses and that stuff is amazing. The Citral plant can't drink enough water. I will upload a picture of my new babies and my Citral plant in flowering. Let me know what you think. Top Left-Sour Diesel, Top Right-Godzilla, Bottom Left-White Widow, Bottom Right-Big Foot. Citrals the flowering one. This is immediatly following transplant. All plants are now doing great, but White Widow is still stressed. For lighting veg room (600watts hps) and 4 Blue Spectrum LED Panels. Flowering room (2x600watt hps) 6 Blue Spectrum LED Panels. Cooled with a 6000 BTU AC unit and 3 electric radiator fans ducted out (1500 cfm each) also each light has an inline duct fan (250 cfm). Sorry, but I just finished the room and am very proud of it.
