Help!.. Security related light cycle question.

Hi all,

The folks below me called up saying they were up all night hearing fan noises (my humidifier). I need to change things up to keep the chill on and need your valued advice.

I have been running things on at night.. but want to switch to at day while folks are at work. I have been running 18/6 with the off during 8AM and 2PM. I want to change it to ON AT: 5AM OFF at 11PM. (I dont need to run the humidifer when its OFF, thus not when they are sleeping/low noise level throughout apt house).

Question.. What is the best way to change the light cycle of my plants with the most minimal disturbance? I could either go with more light hours or less..

I would go with leaving the lights ON until your new off time, and set your timer then - since you can veg under 24/0, but dropping it down you may trigger flower without wanting to.

OK, thanks a lot guys. So whats the deal with feminized seeds? Are they just genetically more disposed to hermaphroditic or just more susceptable to light cycle change stress? I am using them.
