I am looking for a way to make feminized seeds. I have researched it a bit and heard about a few methods. One is using gerberic acid which I dont want to try (unless last resort). The other is by over flowering a female plant. I heard that I simply leave a unpolenated female plant under the lights longer then normal. This will cause her to hermi out during later stages of flowering. Once she starts to grow bannanna shaped nut sacks i clip those off and save them. These will have the pollen and Ill follow the normal method to polenate a female next time. In turn this produces 99% female seeds.

Any truth to this.. any ideas on methods to produce feminized seeds?

STS(silver thiosolate solution) is what all the breeders are useing now.The acid is old news.This sts almost kills the plant before it recovers to make male pollen.When they use this shit the male flowers are as big as female flowers

you need to properely breed your plants for fem seeds.
hermie seeds will only reproduce hermie plants as the genetics will be passed on.

Ive overflowered the hellout of a couple strains with no hermies.The only hermies Ive had came from reg. seeds

That was a good interesting article. I dont think I can produce fem seeds. I am a newbie (1 yr experience) and i dont have the time, equipment to go thru several grows and altering the environment in hopes to herm the plant out.

If there was a simpler method I would totally do it. But i guess I have no choice but to simply produce regular seeds to grow another crop

wow this is some really intresting stuff lol. I just buy from breeders and grow hahaha

good fresh regular seeds are what i use and i have had many more fems than males and hermies using them.
i usually get 70% fems with reg seeds.
i always use nirvana seeds.

Some of those seeds soma made with those nanners were junk, he has given refunds and replaced seeds for that fuckup.He now uses STS.
