this is my first time cloning. i chose to clone of my only outdoors mother plant that is currently between it 4-5 week flower..i chose the least mature cuttings to pick from.

Im using ,root harmone,and rockwool cubes that purchased last night(ph7) and isoaked them in spring water with a bloom booster high in P,K(ph5) and soaked them over night and rung them out. i took the cutting this moring and placed them in a dome and put them outside under a complact flourescent. do to the sun hitting them part of them curled up, but still look decent,i trashed 1 and took a new cutting(bottom left) here is my only picture i can take better more dteailed later.

everything okay?

I believe rockwool is supposed to be soaked in 5.5 pH. You should be misting the humidity dome too.

If this is your first time cloning you should have taken cuttings way before now.Cloning success comes with experience and time.You chose to take cuttings late and they are not going to take that easy.Good luck and next year take your cuttings a month or so earlier.......Peace

so just keep em under the light and mist every now and then and give oxygen.and if they take they take?

Pretty much, yeah. Don't overwater either. Wait until the top layer of rockwool dries between waterings.

those longer branches curled up becuase the plant cant take up enough water tp support all of it (cut the long ones off)

ive found clones taken during flower can root faster, but suffer a severe growth delay switching back to veg.

humidity dome a good thing, leave a small airgap, mist 3-4 times daily (more or less as they see fit)

low light conditions, not dirrect sunlight, more like reading light, slow down the photosynthesis reduce water needs, give it more time/energy for root growth.

also try the power of prayer, i pray over my plants at least 75 times a day, complete with self flagellation. and if that doesnt work try a blood sacrifice. and if that doesnt work, just make fun of them till they develope an eating dissorder

thanks for the responces i did mist them 2 times today lightly and have just been letting them do there thing.i have left them outside do to problems with them being inside...(parental) so they are less likely to snoop around outside lol

so your saying to cut off the leaves that had shriveled up?and is temps outside aroun40-60 okay because of the light in the dome being directly above them?

I took some cuttings about a week or so ago from plants @ 5 week flower (I usually cut them during last week veg or 1st week flower--but due to some undesirable curcumstances I had to take these when I did.)

#1 Is there any such thing as keeping environment TOO humid for cuttings??

here's my situation--I just use a white styrofoam cooler and saran wrap w a high quality flourescent (as a kind of humidity dome)--this set up had always worked really well for me in the past, but this is my first garden after over a 2 yr hiatus... anyway I put the cooler in lrg rubbermaid tub and lay light across the top)

I use very mild nutrient solution in mist bottle, check ph & keep at 5.5--and run fresh through rockwool cube every other day

These babies are very important to me and I almost wonder if I'm watering cubes too much--if nutes are too strong/ weak--wanted to post pic but camera cord not here right now

Anyway they are not doing well--one lil girl has brown edges on every leaf (not curling--just really dark) the others (4) are yellowing and turning WHITE--ALMOST TRANSPARENT--

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS COULD MEAN?????? or What I should DO??

I do not know how to start a thread on here..which is usually fine---the answers are already here somewhere--but man, that search feature is baffling..

i've probably been overwatering for one thing, not letting top of rw dry out--thanks cr8z13--yeah, most all of my cuttings in the past did just fine--and i didn;t pay nearly as much attention to them--apparently that's part of the problem--

but leaves are turning almost CLEAR--I've never seen such a thing-- almost has to be nitrogen def, right?? any input will be appreciated...
