Hey guys thats exactly what is needed. I completely overlooked that when I started, I thought it was just something organic growers do cause they feel bad for using nutes. But the MJ plant actually NEEDS lower nutes CAUSE IT BURNS SUPER EASY. .whew.

So from now on im using half to less than half strength every other watering. Not much in the way of reporting, I transplanted the fred clone into some soil cause he was doing so well.

I do have an interesting question though.....

Can you grow an MJ plant in nothing but plain ph'd water and a beta fish? I think I am going to try it on one of my clones I dont need.

that's all good my friend, but remember those plants can take a thousand pounds of nutes,but you have to work it up to a thousand pounds. right now i'm at full strength with my nutes. but i startred with like 20%-25% nutes,(check my feeding chart in my journal on post #43 i believe) but yea man by the 5th week i'm at full strength. so yea you are right they do burn super easy, but if build them up they can take a whole lot, also i must stress it depends according to the nutes you are using whether you build them up fast or slow. me i can go pretty fast. but hey it's a learnig process. it took me almost a little over a year, doing back to back crops, to get my system down. so i know you may be a little gun shy right now,but don't be scared to give ya babies what they need, when they need it. and last but not least, until you get you way down packed don't forget to record your information so you can always go back and reference. trust me it will save you some valuable time in the beginning by not accidentally having an accident. and as always if this is something you already know, i don't mean any harm, and i'm not trying to "SCHOOL" you. just my two cents. but anyway, glad you got that situation handled. SO!!! for anyone out there watching I apologize for the lack of updates but vegetative growth IS BORING.

I couldn't keep the growth of the urban poisons under control so 2 of them are in the flowering tent along with a healthy dose of bushmaster. This damn strain is a fickle bitch that has given me 3 different deficiencies and most of them have barely survives BUT the ones that have made it look awesome.

I also took 4 UP clones from those 2 and they look to be doing fine.
I hope for a mid January harvest of 1 pound, wish me luck!. I will update more often as the flowering room becomes more interesting.

Wow nice start!! I wanted to check out your grow too man! Can you handle the heat of a 1000W in that tent bro? I bet there is quite a bit of heat to get rid of with that many watts

at first no I didn't take into account that point exactly. I actually almost tanked the whole grow cause my room was 95+ degrees. I eventually ate the bullet and cut a hole in the ceiling and now it chill at 80. do you think that's good?

80 works, Ideally you'd want 75-78 day time, 65-68 night time temps.

Just make sure to have a lot of air moving around to they are not just cooking under dead heat.

Yes 80F should be fine. It's perfect if your running C02. Typically your room can be a little warmer if you're running it. Good advise from Twils. Keeping a steady air flow will help.

GET THIS SHIT. I finally got my temps under control and have a max temp of 77 degrees. BUT trying to survive on a shitty unemployment check and pay bills in a large house that I rent for too much by myself TO GROW AWESOME WEED has finally completely drained my savings and has thrown me a lot closer to the wolves then I prefer to be.

SO WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO? my plants just started flowering. I could wait to move but everything both where I live now and where Im going has panned out gently enough for me to consider taking down this beautiful set-up that I just spent 6 months researching and putting together.

BUT. I cant sleep, I'm stuck at my girlfriends parents house with no weed and my desperation has mated with my creativity.

What if I......

1. Went to goodwill or something and bought a pretty big dresser (because where I am moving does not have a discrete place for my 4x8x7 tent and my 1000watt hps) and bolted some strong ass casters on it (so it ROLLS durrrrrrrrrrrr)

2. The dressers I have looked at have about 4 feet of vertical room inside....

CONCERNS

A. That maybe that 1k EVEN cool-tubed may put off to much heat for that small space.

B. Noise from my 435 cfm fans pushing air in and out?

I have that carbon filter in my room that I will have to hook up beside the dresser cause I cant vent into the attic anymore (obviously that would have to be disguised as well.

If I am scrogging and the 1k is at least 24 inches away do you thing I could do it? if anyone has done something like this PLEASE scream advice at me......
