What if I chose to top or fimm the same day I am going to put them into flower? Would that instead hurt my bud size or even yield for the worse???

You want to top early and let her veg for awhile.
The best bet for topping is to try this method:
Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to get 2 or 4 MAIN colas
Works like a charm, gets you four colas every time without the guesswork. Here is one of mine the day after I topped, and then six days later. All you do is, when the plant is around five nodes high, cut it above the second node. (The node where the first single bladed leaf is does not count). That's it.

Default is it ever to l8te to top while in veg

i have about 22 clones from 1foot to 1 and a half would its still be ok to cut if yes how far down from the top.THANKS for the help in advance
