hi mate i wouldnt use either deffo not tin foil white paper if u have to what did you need it for to line out a closet or somethin?

Why not get some flat white paint. Get the mirror outta there, as it is worthless.

mirrors scatter light. Paper will collect mold spores and dirt. If you get paper wet it soaks in so it will be a breeding ground for mold and germs.

No you want to relfect the light back at your plants not scatter the light towards your plants!

Here is an example. Ok so you take a laser pointer and point at an object in a pic to point out a object in the pic. Now if you scatered the light you would no longer beable to point out the object you want to highlight and point out. So aiming your light is important when it comes to growing as you want the plants to be able to use as much of the light as possible. If you scatter your light the light goes in a million directions insead of back to your plants! This is why mirrors are not as good as flat white paint!
