high ya'll im going to try my hand at growing my own medicine for the first time. i know its way too late now but ill go for it next season...starting mid-lateapril. so hopefully ill have some good herbs to enjoy/medicate with during the world series. so i get about 8-10 hours of sunlight in my back patio where i plan to do this. questuons: how big of a pot should i use?, can i get a clone from my local dispensary and introduce it to an outdoor environment...will it survive and should i give it a few hours of sun a day to acclimate it to outdoor conditions? what kind of soil should i use? should i do a bug net around it at all or should i use any protection? should i bring it inside at night? help please! i want success my first attempt.

I'm in Southern California so i have good conditions during the season
