I recently traded a buddy for a hooded 250W MH, stoner trades are the best, I just built a 32in x 32in, 50in tall veg cab for the sole purpose of using the light mentioned before. My question is i have a few month old clones in there enjoying the new light and with the extra room i was wondering how old clones should be before they can handle the big light. I have 15 chunky cheese clones that have rooted and transplanted into solo cups that are about a week old(2 to 3 nodes), I have only vegged my little babes under floros until they were pretty good size. My question is will they be ok under the metal halide? Temps run between 74-78. Any help would be much appreciated.

if they are introduced to the light in stages of intensity it will be fine... hang the light as far away frm the clones as you can at 1st...then over a week or so move it closer ... and make sure you have fans to keep the heat down on the light and the plants.... good luck with that :^)
