I can buy ro water at the supermarket for .33 a gallon but I have my own ro unit. It would be very rare to have tap water as low as pH 7. But 7 is still too high. You can't find water with a low enough pH for hydro weed, you have to adjust it. Jorge Cervantes says start with ro water. Take it from there.

i use tap water my tap water comes out at 7.6 with 25ppm i adjust the ph as needed and it cost nuthin.. check yer tap water might be better than ya think... if you dnt have a ph tester get one, if no ppm meter you can find a water analysis online for yer local treatment plant

there is this natural spring water resource that is on someones property and he lets people fill p as much as they want!! do you think this water would be any good

should be fine test it if you can chk ph and ppm... i have a spring and it seems ok just gotta let it warm up a bit before i use it. comes out the ground at about 54 degree's
