Ok heres the setup: Flowering 32 plants at a time in a SOG...would like to find a strain that has about an 8 week flowering period...if setup right the goal would be to harvest 4 plants a week.....I have a seperate veggie room for the mother(s) as well as an aeroponic cloning setup that I just finished building yesterday....SO....in order to have the right amount of clones always waiting in the veggie room, in various stages of growth to supply the flowering 4 new plants a week, how many mother plants should I have??

I know that the 8 week cycle is not exact, plants will be done when their done, if flowering took a week longer or if it happened sooner, no big deal, but seems to me that it might be very possible, I can always hold a plant in the veggie room longer if need be....

Also anyone have any suggestions as to which strain I should be growing? I've bee looking at maybe getting Ice, or one of the purple strains...

how about top 44 it can flower in 6 weeks, or hash plant it can flower in 40 days, you could have two mothers of each.

three mothers is a good amount , youll be ablr to harvest pleanty clones

my opinion, since you asked:

i tried this. i failed. i couldn't keep up with the feeding schedule or the plant heights. it started out ok. the first 2 cycles worked. pulled a 1/4lb 2 weeks later i pulled 1/4lb then it all went south. the plants heights were different so i had stretch. i tried to use blocks but they got in they way of watering. all the plants are on a different feeding amount so nutes had to be mixed separately. i've shut it all down. i'm going back to a full room all at once. you may be able to pull it off. there are those who do. but for me, i just couldn't handle it all.

depends on your moms.........mine are approx 3 ft. tall,i can pull 25-40 quality clones.our sog goes 40 plants every 21 days(white widow has me on its schedule-lol).i have several moms(diff strains)but could run my sog w/3-4 healthy mama's
