My brother went out of town for around a month and gave me a key to his garage door so I could get out the garden hose and water his grass and mow, edge, etc. The last time I went over there to water the grass I had to shit pretty bad so I checked to see if I could get in the house from the garage and I could -- the door from the garage to house was unlocked. I hadn't been in the place for probably 2 years and it was pretty messy, I went to the bathroom that I knew about and found pubes all over the toilet seat so I went looking for another shitter.

I headed downstairs to see if there was another bathroom down there and the hydroponic odds and ends caught my eye. I looked to my left and saw two fairly large rooms sectioned off with panda film on the studs, with a small open area between. I sort of regret ever stumbling upon this but holy shit it is pretty fucking cool. The little area between rooms has a breaker box, several 1000 watt ballasts, and a little clone table with I'm guessing T5 fluorescents.

One of the rooms had nothing in it except the lighting and ductwork, the other had the same but with plastic planters with ganja chopped off nearly at the base, and lots of leaves and stalks and stems and a few buds remaining on some of the stalks scattered around.

I understand fairly well the basics of growing (was planning to start a smaller indoor op of my own a while ago) so this is extremely intriguing to me.

I know this might sound like a made up story but I am not janking anyone here. Of course I haven't told anyone and I even debated posting this here but I need some sort of input. Basically dream come true would be becoming partner in crime but it seems like it would be pointless endeavour for him since he already has an established setup and I would be a novice. I don't know how to even mention it because maybe I shouldn't have ever stepped foot inside. He never gave me permission to go inside but I don't recall him telling me not to either.

How the hell do you bring something up like "Hey bro I was snooping through your place and stumbled on your grow, you should let me help you with it". I remember how bummed I was when someone discovered my opium grow because until then NO ONE else knew about it and I knew that it would no longer be possible to keep it an absolute guaranteed secret. Would it be best to just keep this huge secret a secret from him forever so as to not burst his bubble? I know this is far-fetched but maybe he left that door unlocked as a way for me to discover it in hopes I would become part of it.

Someone give me some input, or has anyone experienced anything remotely similar?

i wouldnt mention it unless he does first. you dont want him not trusting you

dont you dare tell a single person about this, you could anger him/ possibly get him killed depends where you live. plus if you wanted to get involved bring it up casual, ask him to show you how it works and get him to teach you the ins and outs, if he really knows what hes doing. good luck

Yea, i agree, keep this to yourself. If he is the paranoid type, you telling him you know might make him pull his plants. On the other hand, maybe, he needs better security. If you stumbled onto it, maybe it would be better to let him know for his own good to lock off the area, such as a lock on the basement door.
