Default Honey oil

Anyone know why my honey oil turns out hard like candy? i make it using 1/2Oz of clippings grinded into almost as fine as flower, in a stainless steel pipe about 6 inches long and 1 inch around and i shoot it with NIBO butane155g (5.4Oz can) i get back about 1.3g of rock hard honey oil. (If i add heat to it ity does melt) thanks

add 93=99% alcohol just enough to get the rock to devolve. After you do this It will not turn back to rock.

Don't do that.
It gets hard when it's cold, and melts when its warm. I store mine in the freezer to keep it a solid, because it's easier to work with. There's nothing wrong with it being hard, that just means that it's cured properly and all the butane has evaporated.

If you don't add the alcohol it's not oil. I would guess there are other solvents to turn the thc to oil. But after you add alcohol the thc stays in liquid form. No you don't have to reduce to oil. It can be used in what ever form you like.

Honey oil, Earwax, Gold dust, etc..
But a rose by any other name..........

There ya go. just the final forme. All I was saying. without adding the alcohol it stays in a rock form. I was just telling the guy that started this thread why his "oil" wasn't oil.
