Hey RIU, I am contemplating doiing a single plant MONSTER indoor grow in soil after I harvest sometime before christmass. I would like to know:

1. Is it possible to get a pound off an indoor plant using a 200 watt cfl+hood and many many smaller CFLs,.?

2. How much volume will I need to grow the beast, 10gal,15gal, more??


3.How much time should I veg it ( to get as close as possible to a Pound)?



I havent seen anything like this done before on RIU, all comments greatly appreciated

I don't know if you could pull that kind of yeild off of a single plant with CFL's, not hating on them, I use 'em too, but I don't think they have enough penetration to bud a pound off one plant.

You aint getting a pound off one plant using CFL's. Dude, you aint getting a pound off one plant using HPS indoor either. You would be freakish lucky if you got 4 Oz's off one plant indoors.

You need to make a journal on this one...I am interested to see what happens....as everyone has already said I dont think the CFL's will have enough power to produce that much bud. But hey on the other side it would be a good outcome if you did get close to a pound!

Lol thanks for your input homes, I fully plan on getting at the least 2 oz per plant off my current grow (Check my sig) But I guss we'll see.

It'll all depend on the final weight of my current grow, its just an idea so far but I would really like to experiment with large soil volume inside. I would probobly germinate a lowryder every two weeks along with the monster while in veg. I would want to eventually be able to harvest 1oz+ every 2 weeks until I flip the ligths to 12/12 then flower out the monster solo.

Hell ya man Im all about experimenting to expand my/others knowledge of growing. My current grow is so incredibly healthy I just thought that I could definetly grow one enormous bitch in the same space.

I will absolutely be doing a journal but not till January or so.
