Hey everybody...alright so i have a couple weeks left 'til harvest but alot of my lower buds look almost ready but the top cola doesn't seem like hardly any of the hairs have changed...is this normal??..will the top catch up soon...just tryin to figure it out so I know what I'm looking at here...any help is appreciated

Normally It is the other way around.. lower branches usually take longer to mature... Unless you are talking about the mINNI Minni.. buds on the very lower branches,, they are not even really buds.. just a bunch of hairs with crystals..

HAHA Saweet I've always been told at all cost don't touch the buds but if I clip the lower ones that are pretty much done, well whats the harm in that right lol.....I'm still kind of confused on my top part though I still see a whole bunch of white hairs all over it and the lower ones are at like 40 or 50% turned...If I cliped away the lower buds as they finish and just let the top cola chill for another week or so would this be bad??...j/w how I can manage this

SUP, you should definitely sample some of the lower buds...
If you have a magnifier, check the trichs. on the top buds and elsewhere.
There is no reason you can't harvest in stages if you want.

Alright so I looked at my plant out of the HPS today and noticed that alot more hairs have turned than I thought before but the top still looks behind compared to the others...all my other buds look done(at least 60% of hairs turned as I don't have a magnifier yet) but the top looks like it may need a few more days to maybe a week...Should I just trim all the buds except the top and just have this lolipop looking thing for a week?? lol Help appreciated

You made it this far....good job...now whether you take the bottom buds before the main cola is simply a matter of personal preference....the top bud will be fine if you take the lower buds a week or so earlier.
Sampling moderately will not hurt your girl and can help determine optimum harvest time...... you might consider taking small samples from top and lower buds to compare and help you decide....the proof is in the puff...

that is true.....thanks for the help wavels....does this case were the bottom buds finish before the top happen often or is like KNOWM said and usually happen the other way around????....either way at least I got my own stash of homegrown right???

I sampled some that was still a little wet but it got me high...It had a very uplifting high rather than the stuck to your seat high....I'm very surprised and I guess proud that I took a mid grade seed and definently made it better and more potent...I say this was a definite success for my first grow
