im finally back this year with a huge 6ft and shes a beauty.do to a problem with light from an outside sourse to her uper foot and a half i decided to bend her today to about 3 and a half feet, biggeste side branch making it a 4 footer.Hopeing that will solve my horrible problem...the whole uppe part was not budding at all....just ahd like 1 set of pistils on it while her sides where growing buds like a racehorse..this year again i have grown organic and its working out pretty nice.

speaking with floyd he told me not to trim any leaves because the leaves are used for photosynthesis which i knew in advance but i wasnt sure if there was a way to get them fully out of the way because im running out of zipties lol

here are some pics...

some responces and watches woul be much appreciated :)!

It just looks like a plant that doesn't get enough light. I always like them in pots, as things change in fall, so I can move them as needed.

I don't think I would nute it much this late. Depends on where you are I guess, I'm in Michigan and we only have about 2 weeks left so I would let it do it's thing if it were here. It is up to you, just remember it is a weed and to much love is not good. Good Karma Bra.

[well it jsut started budding a few weeks ago, and its starting to get cold, last year my lant wasnt completely done buy nov 2 and it snowed so i had to harvest early..im adding things to keep the ph blanaced and the microbes happy...also a garden place around my way gave me a bud sweetner..and a chemical nut 1-49-34..and its very potent he said give it the last couple weeks in flowering to really give them a boost and harden them up...ther then that outdoors takes a long time since i cant control many factors.. im just worried about killing all the bacteris i worked so hard for in the root zones..even though it will kill it i will get more yeild

i grow organic so i dont lke the idea of using this since i have such a good bacteria environment going on. but i guess it organic and smal yeild or hit it with some chems to spike the yeild. its made by supernatural and it was given to me as a give/sample.

also snipping off any leaves to reach parts that get blocked...good idea or bad idea.ive never done this and alot of arguemnets go both ways...give me some feedback

Nice thread you got going here Hearts. How the heck how are ya? I notice you drop around about once a year give or take a 4 months, funny how you are starting a pattern. Us growers get that way. Good to see ya back at it.

Your plant looks good for where she is at this stage. If you have any bloom food around give a small dose as she still has time to fatten up. I like how you tied her down to get her in the sun, that is exactly what I would have done. I have seen a grower on here actually vine their plant up a wall or tralus (sp) to get it growing the way they wanted, can't remember where, when, or even who, sorry.

Also, about your question on trimming to open the plant up, do it but moderatly and deliberately. Trim some fans from the bottom 1/3 of the plant. You can also go into the very center a trim a few more from there. This will open her up while leaving enough foliage to get her plumped up. You can also trim a couple of the lowest branches off if they are going to be dinky this will force energy where you wnat it. You will not have to trim much to see a differance in the canopy and overall foliage.

Hey im so glad you posted on my thread, I've always lvoed that.and yes its that time of the year again, i had other plants growing shorter and bushier in pots but they all maled out on me i have no clue must have been genetic.Bra...the only real problem im having was light from an sourse that was shining over where she was growing was hitting the top of her causing certain parts to not flower...as in the one picture that is the top of the plant sideways...has only 2 hairs in the nodes...main reason why i tied her down...and the way i tied her in the first picture i tied the opposite way and then ziptied her to plowsticks to open her up.....and my concern about the foliage...i wanted to get rid of some excess top stuff so it could shine to the lower branches as they dont get enough light but havent been effected by the outside light source.

other thing.the ferilizer ive been using is peace of mind fruit and flower..and its time release, with some benifical bacteria i bought..thats what shes ben eating since i started..only thing is i went on vacation for 2 months and the person that was helping me fed her the whole box...as you can see she didnt mind that at all lol.but yeah i have this stuff by supernatural its a chemical fertilizer powder thats like 1-49-36 or so and i was told to add it to her near then end of her bloom cycle...thou shes only been into flowering for about 3 weeks maybe.(came back form vacation with some tips of shoots not effected by the light at night)but i was just worried that all the chemicals will destroy the bacteria thats good but gain more yeild do to huge numbers not achived by organics

sorry for the life story on that one..answer what you can.

cant wait for your reply

You will want to use that heavy bloom enhancer near the end but you could toss her a real small dose to give her the message right now. Just mix it into your next watering. Just so you so not worry too much about a few bud not getting enough light, I have had buds go to full maturity even though they were shaded by fan leaves. Light gets processed though the whole plant fairly evenly. So you may just want to do some of the trimming I talked of earlier just for some openess to the plant.

Hey gotta go hook up with a family member for now but will return in a couple of hours. Hopefully we can continue this a bit later, running late for now.

hey bra! im so happy you replied so quick, i always love when you feed my threads with your opinions and information. And yeah its about that time again..this year i had more plants indoor but they all went male on me and i even did the ph thing this year(your thread) guess it was just genetics. so yeah im having a problem during her flowering with an outside source at night shinning light over whree shes growing...it caused her to not grow the top ft and a half which i why i tied her down.now shes not directly in the light anymore but you can make a slight shadow with your hand over her leaves and stuff..its just barely there but its there..im currently going out to try and get something to cover it maye 2 poles and a blck sheet to hang off the wall its next to.i also wanted to thin some of the foliage near the top as her complete lower half is more involved in the flowering then the top as you can see in the one pictures thats the top cola sideways, 2 hairs in the node..making me nervous no herm yet

SEcond she is all organic, while i was on vacation someone fed her the whole box of the time release peace and mind fruit and flower shich is why she is prob so tall and stretchy but amazing, I dont think she minded at all. alos added beneficial bacteria and some calc mag plus to her months ago when she was a young ladyy.I had received a gift of supernatural 1-49-36 or close to that chemical ferts to boost the buds and i deff know it will kill the bacteria...is it worth using that because i know i will get more yeild but how much more...the PoM was something like 2-7-5 or something close but look how she is and you decide

Waiting for your responce :)

Whoa! sorry for all those posts, everytime i filled it out with my reply it said it was posted but i didnt see it on my thread...

other concern...shes all organic
this chem fertilizer will ruin her biology of the soil

whats the sacrifice of organics vs. chem yield

Since you won't be using it much, it should not hurt it at all. I often mix the 2 together during flowering because my chemical nutrient is designed for hydro and it is light. The reason I mix my organic bloom w/ the chemical grow nutirent 2 part (only 2 times during flower) is for all the micro and macro nutrients. I believe your palnt should benefit from a small serving of bloom enhancer is to let that plant go into hard flowering. All the good eatins your buddy fed her may be in the way of her really going after packing on the weight. So a little reminder with the enhancer may help. You could also give a snack of molasses, they like it. I snack of it will also push her a bit. During bloom you need higher pk values anyway. Molasses has k, iron and a couple of other nutrients. Your plant does look good, she should have no problems.

I'll be checking back soon.

Yeah, i had asked someone at the hydro store if it would kill the biology..they said yeah but he said go light on it cause its some tough stuff..also yeah ive used mollases 2 times already idk how far into flowering she is. can you tell...i had this problem last year do to it being outside with not enough sunlight but it still came out fine with small yeild..i think ill do that shortly. and last year i had to bring her in early because of it snowing nov 2..this looks nowhere near done..or does it?

also...can i give her additional nutes? i mean they said i could burn the plant if i combined with my pureblend pro bloom....i have veg, and bloom formula, calc mag plus, mollasses, that chemical stuff. a biomass organic veg growth add w/ seaweed extract in it, and ph up..what do you recommened? and she has all that peace of mind in her dirt..that has all kinda of organic stuff with benifical bacteria in it

She looks like she is at 2-3 weeks, especially form the nugs taht are there. I see alot of pre-flower hairs there as well. Just tie her as much as possible to keep her in the light. Also, have you done any trimming yet? Got any new pics?

What are all the npk values for the nutrients you have? I do not advise using more veg formula on her especially with the pre-flower look shes got going. I reccomend only using any nutrient you have for bloom time only. She really needs to realize what mode she is in.

Let me know what the npk values are then lets go from there. Also, list which nutrient has which npk.

I'll be here

the bloom food is only something like 1.5-5-4...and the chemical stuff is 1-49-37..something around that hi of a number..plus i have calc mag plus..an foliar zinc/iron spray.and of course mollases. the biomass says to use it all the way until bloom and has no nutrient value on the bottle but it was organic..i just didnt know if i could over feed her organics ...let me know what i should blend her up as i will go up and pick up and gallon of spring water and mix her up some love! suns out and shes ready to be fed
