How Long For Males To Release pollen?

I have a nice healthy male I'm keeping to collect pollen, but I can't seem to find how long it takes them to release the pollen.

Only that 'a plastic bag should be placed over the branch right before the pollen is released.' I assume it would be a couple of weeks into flowering? The strain is Top 44, so the flowering time for the females in 6 weeks...

Planning on doing a White Widow or G-13 Top 44 cross for some faster flowering medical cannabis.

Just watch your plant and you'll see the pods getting bigger and looking ready to open up. I normally dont wait for them to open but last time I did was about oooooooh maybe 7-10 days?

He is 12 days into 'flower' now and looking about ready to pop so I placed a plastic tarp under the plant. It was isolated from the garden as soon as it showed sex a few days into flowering..
