Does anyone here know how to get financing for a medical cannabis co-op or medical cannabis dispensary?

I've been doing a lot of research on how to get one started legally, but so far I haven't come across any resources for funding.

I've contacted banks and other organization that lend to small business start-ups, but they've all responded in the negative.

I'm a caregiver to a terminally ill cancer patient and I am very serious about starting up a quality medication center.

I have good qualifications and a strong business plan, I just need the financing to get it all going.

i hope u get an answer...but i have a ? im moving to oakland soon and since u've already been researching maybe u will know...what would be better: to join a collective or to start my own..im just not sure if co-ops take in new ppl or if there locked in...is there anyway to grow and sell to dispensaries..just looking for some basic ideas whatever u can help with..+rep

you could prolly get some kind of small business loan, but i wouldn't put that much money down for a small dispensary. If you're going to do it, do it right, get professional people to help you run the store and business in general. There's just too much competition out there for dispensaries these days, however, if you're in the right place at the right time, you can do it! I mean, you probably can either way, it's just the difference of making it big or not..

you should just start from the ground up make money doing it free-lance then as you build a patient base become more and more successful you begin to expand keep doing this until you expand to the point of opening your spot then franchaise,

You gotta work hard and save some money. Atleast $30k, probably more. I wouldn't expect to get any help from anyone, you got to do it yourself. There are a lot of people with the "dream job" you want, to get it going just takes time and money on your part. Just don't give your hopes up.

the best way to do it is find the richest coke dealer in your nieghborhood and rob that foo wit a strap.....like "NIGGA"

Dude, drive down the I-15 into la mesa/hillcrest area and there are more than a few good ones. Check out weedmaps and put in your zip, there are plenty within a half hour drive of vista.

im in the temecula, murrieta, fench valley, winchester, menifee, area dood, not vista!
