So I was watching episode 11 of the second season of Weeds, and I've occasionally been a bit unimpressed by their research, although I generally like the show. But, in this episode, they have 38 pounds of "MILF weed" that they need to sell as quickly as possible, so they give the character "U-Turn" a break on the price; $300,000. Supposedly the actual market price at the time is $500,000.

Now, I did the math like five times because I just couldn't believe how fucking dumb that is.
$7,900 a pound is a BARGAIN?!! IN CALIFORNIA!!!? You could sell that by the ounce for $500 and still wouldn't make shit for profit! And that means the going market price at the time for MILF weed is over $13,000 a pound. In a MASS QUANTITY sale, understand- they're moving it all at one time.

I think this shit is mother fuckin ridiculous B to the S, BULL SHIT.

Here in michigan good chron goes anywhere from 350-700 an ounce. 700 an ounce for 35 lb's is roughly around 5 grand.

that tv show probably get the rookies so pump up lol on weekdays regs sell much quicker u might sell some tops but not as quick as regs unless u know the right people/teenager. but on weekend at parties or a getty the top bud sell very quickly. the fastest i have sold a complete oz by the dubs was 4 days.

yea, im in north FLA and i sell my ounces to my brother for 250, and to other people for 300-350 depending on how well i know them. They can then flip those for 480 so i figure that gives them a good amount of profit, but me more.

i use to DOUBLE my profit. so if i spend 300 then by the end of the bag i want to see 600 on deck. my profit range from 300-350 and no i dont cheat but when i weight em i put .9 in each bag because the dude who weight the 1 oz include the branches after branches. when u add up the branches they weight something

Jesus, I'm thinking on moving down to the States, but I had no idea shit went for so expensive. That is some ridiculous profits.
